I have mailed my passport, so how long does it take for Visa stamping process?

Please give me information about my TRV. I submitted/transmitted my application online last November 4, 2013. I would like to know how long it takes before I can get a reply from CIC? to get my visa stamp in my passport because i'm going to have my vacation this coming December 20.
I will appreciate your reply. Thank you!

I am in the same situation with you. i submitted my application on Nov 5 and never heard any notification since then.. I have my vacation scheduled on Nov 22. I guess I m gonna miss my flight!!! Where did you apply to ?? in canada or US? Thanks!

I applied here in Toronto.. I got an email from them last November 18 to submit my passport for my visa stamping. I sent my passport last November 19 together with the prepaid express post envelop and they got my passport the day after. I keep checking the tracking number of the prepaid express post that i sent but canada post can't track yet so i guess they didn't send back my passport with my visa yet. In your case try to email Ottawa about your application so you don't miss your flight on 22nd of December we still have more time. My flight is on December 20 too so lets cross our fingers..
