Ohhhhh goodyyyyyyyyyyyy :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I am so happy for you, your wife and your in-laws.

I was wondering about the status of their visa applications because we did not hear from you recently. This is wonderful news

Congratulations once again.... and also congratulations to you/your family for your twin babies

you are a nice person! Thanks a lot for your help. without your help I would not have got the Visa. Thanks again!

Hi Brynana,

Can you please suggest how to raise a super visa file? Actually, I am going apply for my step-mother visa. But there could be issue because I did not put her name in my family background declaration because my actual mother name was there in my passport, birth certificate etc..

Appreciate it your response. How can I apply for step-mother super visa? please suggest.

If you have not declared your step-mom for any visa/prior to getting your PR.... then you may not be able to sponsor her in the future.... or apply for a super visa for her.... by declaring her to be your step-mom now, it may be considered as misrepresentation with serious consequences.

I think you should apply for a TRV.... and not a super visa.... and do take care how you state/prove your relationship to her because of the possibilities of misrepresentation

Maybe other forum members can confirm if this is correct

Thanks for mail. I got PR and landed in Canada.

I did not mentioned her name in my family background declaration because in my passport and other governmentd documents, it was mentioned my actual parents names. So that time I was under impression that mentioning step-mother name could be issue as there were no direct evidence.

Actually, I lost my real mother when I was 6 months old. Then after, my father was lost when I was 18 years old. Now my step-monther is alone at back home country. I would like to bring her here in Canada. But, confuse about process. I know that might be I need to hire good lawyer to prepare her application because need to show strong relationship with her.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost your mom when you were only 6 months.... glad you have your step mom :)

Wish you had given affidavits/death certificates of your real parents/included your step mom's name in your PR application.... yes, do hire a good lawyer.... it's going to be quite tough.... do take care that this new disclosure does not appear like a misrepresentation.... because your PR could then be at serious risk/could even get revoked.

If you do not have any legal documents that prove she is related to you as your step mom..... you can then provide other evidence to show she raised you when you lost your mom.... you can show your relationship to her is on humanitarian grounds.

Perhaps, you should apply for a TRV.... keep extending her visitor status (as long as you can).... and leave it at that.... don't go for a super visa as it may put your PR at risk.

The lawyer will know the best way forward.... and I hope your step mom is with you soon

Thanks Bryanna for your suggestion. Apprecaite it.

I did not mention my step-monther in my PR - Application because I had submitted my FSW application myself and that time I did not have any step-monther documents and her passport, goverment documents - nothing.

Hence, I submitted my real parents details in background infromation and declared as deceased in background forms. Actually, I scarred to decalred all the details as you know that providing more information that means CIC will ask more questions. So I had submitted my application simple and easy way.

Hope god will support me because I am not doing any illegal or unethical steps.
