Hello all,

This is my 1st post, and I thank all of you in advance for the help provided.

Here is my profile details:
- Positive results on the "Are you eligible for Express Entry" test. I used the generated number to create my EE profile
- Age: 34
- work experience: 11 years, as computer science engineer (with a university master diploma)
- Wife work experience: 9 years in finance and banking (with a university master diploma)
- IELTS score: 6,5
- TCF score: C1 and C2
- A brother and an uncle in Montreal
- Sufficient funds (more than 30.000 USD)
- 1 kid (3 years old)
- No job offer
- Visited Canada last summer

I submitted my EE profile twice, and as soon as I do, I do receive an automatic message saying that I'm not eligible to EE, and my profile had not even been screened, or assessed to determine my earned points .

Does anybody know what can I do to enter the Express entry pool?

Thanks in advance.

Did you select Quebec as your desired province? Quebec is not a part of express entry. Also, if you have studied outside Canada, has your education credentials assessed by one of the approved bodies?

Get your foreign Education assess if you are claiming point for it as fsw. It is mandatory.

OP does meet CLB 7 (and some 8). Rewriting ielts to obtain CLB9 will increase CRS dramatically. (Need IELTS of 8 in Listening and 7 in the other three). Wife should also get maximum possible IELTS. Get ECA on degrees for both of you.

Assessing your diploma alone will make you eligible. And I agree with Pippin to improve your IELTS to CLB 9.

When we select our desired province. Do we have to go to that province? Or doesn't matter and can choose randomly? Tks

So, if I well understand:

1 - Having my diploma assessed is mandatory, and if I don't make it my profile will not be eligible at all, is that correct ?

2 - Having an overall score of 6,5 in IELTS is excluding me from being eligible to EE, is that correct? that's why I should improve my IELTS score

3 - Having my wife passing IELTS and TEF will help also,

4 - Having my wife's diploma assessed, will help also

Thanks for your clarifications

1 - Correct if you do not have a Canadian degree.

2 - CLB 7 for FSW in all sections.

3 - Yes

4 - Yes

HHHmmmm, so I guess I'm excluded because of my 6,5 score in IELTS, ...

IELTS 6 is equivalent to CLB7. So ur IELTS is fine for eligibility. But higher IELTS score would increase ur CRS, which would be key for ITA.

Thanks jianxia15 for the reply,

If my IELTS score is fine, why I'm I rejected ? Is it because I don't have my diploma assessed yet ?

Thanks again

As stated several times already, yes your profile is ineligible as you have not assessed your educational credentials.
