I am a U.S. citizen. My girlfriend is a South Korean citizen. We want to submit applications to become permanent residents of Canada under the Skilled Worker and Professional category.

Can we submit an application together(listing my girlfriend as my common law/conjugal partner)?

We are currently residing in South Korea, but we plan to move to the U.S. during later this year.

If youve been living together for at least 12 months and have consolidated your affairs - like bank accounts, rental agreements, insurance, phone, etc. - you can sponsor her as your common-law partner.

Since you're a U.S. citizen, you would submit your joint application to the consulate in Buffalo, NY.
