Do you already have a TRV? Given your funds and lack of travel history outside of Africa it would have been hard to get one. Very unusual location for a 1st business trip out of Africa. Your anniversary trip would eliminate almost all your savings so doesn’t make sense for a family. If you are truly wanting to go on an anniversary trip plenty of options closer to home that I would prefer over a budget Canada trip. Namibia/Botsawan, Zanzibar, Morocco (Marrakesh), etc. just to name a few with very different travel experiences and easy to get to.

Very weird that there is minimal data about outcomes of cases expect on year. The one year there was approval/refusal data the chances of approval are far from guaranteed.

It’s lack of accurate information that leads one to think that families abroad are living better then majority of the working class people in Liberia. Let me be brief and informative: 1. Liberians do not like to travel out of their home country. 2. You can live a very descent life in Liberia with 1,000 USD paycheck then a person in America or Canada who makes 3,000-4,000 USD paycheck. You can hire a Caregiver for as low as 20 usd here. 3. I live a better life than you and most of the travelers in Canada who goes there for tourism most especially the ones from (Philippines, Indian etc.). 4. It is easier to do business and make more money in Liberia then abroad. 5. There have been several colleagues of mine who have visited Canada with 4,000- 5,000 usd bank Statement and return to work. I am surprise that you guys are not aware that Liberians show their legitimate bank statements of 4000 with no travel experience and still get their visitor visa without an invite from family or friends in Canada, and return to their home country. 5. check the visa processing time of your home country and compare it to Liberia before you make unnecessary statements. 6. International community paints countries from the African continent bad in order to attract foreigner to few country of interest.

While it is obvious that some people travel to seek asylum. I can assure you those people where lazy in their home country and they where mostly single people who couldn’t afford in their countries due to their laziness. They taught traveling abroad would make a significant impact in their lives.
