I am a British citizen currently residing in Canada on a working holiday visa (IEC). I have submitted an application for permanent residence through Express Entry under the Canadian Experience Class. I am currently in the process of applying for a bridging open work permit.
In my document checklist online, it lists 'Schedule 1: Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside of Canada' (IMM5257) under optional documents. I am completing this application within Canada, which suggests to me that I do not need to complete it. However, when I click on '?' next to the form, it states 'you must provide a Schedule 1 declaration.'
How do I know if I need to complete this form? I'm not sure why this form is listed on my checklist as I am completing this application within Canada.
I want to know if I need to provide this form because I'm experiencing difficulty generating barcodes on the form. If I don't need to provide the form, I will just leave it.
Thank you in advance.
