Good evening. I am seeking some information as it relates to the Humanitarian and Compassionate cases. My mother made and application for humanitarian and compassionate cases and she received her landing in February, she also received her PR card in June of this year. I was sent letters from the Canadian Embassy in my country to say I must complete medical and police record. I have done all of that but yet still i have not received any information about my case. I sent an email to the CIC and i was told that my mother did not pay for my visa so that is why I am not hearing anything. But there seems to be some confusion because my mother told me that they did not tell her about any other fee for me. They told her that everything was ok in Canada. I really would like to know what is causing the hold up, I just some clarification as to what to do. Thanks

Common they've given you the clue already that your Mum did not pay for your Visa. All you need to do is go ahead pay the necessary fees and notify CIC with your receipt and if your Mum had paid, send the evidence of payment to them. CIC rarely issues Visa that has not been paid for in advance.
