Please advise ASAP

HR issued letter on letter head stating my designation joining date.

Upon my request, my manager issued a referral letter covering all my roles, responsibilities on plain paper, notarized, which I am planing to submit along with my OPNP application.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to request for any employment reference letter on letter head from my employer as such a request may jeopardize my current employment.

I hope you understand my situation and consider my application eligible for Canadian permanent residency.

I am attaching all the pertinent documents related to my employment.

1. Period of Employment with : Total Years
2. Positions I have held during the period of employment
3. My role, responsibilities and duties in each position
4. My monthly salary slip, Last six months See attached
5. Employer Offer Letter, and Salary Revision Letters See attached
6. The number of hours worked per week 40 hours
I hope the information provided and the supporting documents attached with my application satisfy the requirements.

I think you still need to get your employer/boss to counter-sign and stamp on those documents.

I am worried

The reference letter with my role responsibilities is already issued on plain paper by my Manager with his off telephone, mobile, email.

I will notarize it and submit.

Seems very risky. There is no other choice for me. I tried my best.

Why CIC expects the HR departments world over to follow what they require.

Every company has its own policies, procedure.

Thanks a lot for your feedback

1) This has already been discussed a lot of times. Take a look at the below thread.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/employer-hr-refuses-official-job-letter-with-addnl-detailed-job-duties-t316445.0.html

2) My company has issued me the very same letter. Have it. You can submit that letter too.

3) Ask your HR department to send you an E-mail that such letters will not be issued as per company policy.

4) Along with that letter, you can submit the roles and responsibilities given by your manager. Please this notarized - makes your case solid.

5) Provide ANY and ALL documents that you might have - Payslips, promotion letters, increment letters, appreciation letters, offer letters, appointment letters etc.

6) Write a convincing Letter of Explanation - Make it as polite as possible - Tell them that you tried genuinely to get all the required documents but you were unable to. Request them, humbly to consider the alternate documents that you have provided in lieu of the actual documents requested by CIC.

7) If the roles and responsibilities are available are available on some other company document, job board, glassdoor or any publically advertised media, print it and add it. Provide a link if it is an online resource.

8) Submit all the documents mentioned above. Have LOE in the beginning.

9) Have faith and hope that CIC understands the situation and you get through.

I wish you all success. Good luck and all the very best!

Can I get roles and responsibilities letter from my ex-manager who was my manager for more than 4 years till mid 2014 and now transferred to different team but same organization?

He is ready to give me this letter over email with his business card and signed by him.

Or is it mandatory to get this letter from my current manager only? My ex-manager will be mentioning that he has left the team in mid 2014.

I am suffering from the same problem but I am not Principle Applicant. My organization never issue experience letter mentioning role and responsibilities, actually never disclosed any information related to their employees that "who is doing what".

In this situation, Can I submit the below supporting documents? can it wok, as I am not a principle applicant.

1. Salary Slips
2. Appointment Orders / Letters
3. Promotion Order
4. "Employer's Letter" for Bank lone
5. Finance Department's Letter
6. No Objection Certificate (for immigration counter at Airport) for Departure to Singapore for International training
7. International training certificates, that confirm my area of work
8. An Affidavit on Stamp-paper mentioning my working hours (per week), annual salary, list of job role/responsibilities and also describing my situation that I am unable to request my employer to issue me a detailed experience certificate however I am providing the following supporting documents that confirm my duration of job, designations, Job roles, my employer name and its contact details etc.

Please help.

I believe all these documents mentioned can act as a proof of your work experience for this particular job.
