Thank you, I'm a bit concerned because the reference letter provided by my former employer does not show the registration number of the companyjorgecmb said:It depends on the VO and your application. If they have any doubts or something doesn't feel right, the VO can call/e-mail whoever signed the letter for some confirmation.

it is however stamped and signed by the managing director
what is your take on this please?
If they are in doubt they call the employer or send out an email to the employer. I have provided some good points on how to make the proof of employment strong to convince the immigration officer and you can find that post here - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-applicants-who-received-aor-connect-here-t269696.7320.htmlKitua85 said:Hi All,
I will like to know how CIC authorities verify work experience related documents. Do they call your company to verify? Do they personally visit job locations specified?
Where is the CIC's requirement that asks for the employer's registration number?Kitua85 said:Thank you, I'm a bit concerned because the reference letter provided by my former employer does not show the registration number of the company

I never provided the employer's registration number in the letter. It was present in the LMIA though. Goodluck.gavingan said:Where is the CIC's requirement that asks for the employer's registration number?

Goodluck.
There is no CIC requirement for a registration number, but I believe that it will help prove the authenticity of the documentgavingan said:Where is the CIC's requirement that asks for the employer's registration number?
