How to withdraw the family sponsorship made outside canada

Hello All,

I am looking on how to withdraw my Sponsorship PR, could you please direct me on this and any replies on this are much appreciated. Below is the detailed application process I had gone through up to now.

I am a candian PR holder got married on November 26th 2014 in India, we got separated one month back thats the reason I want to with draw my sponsorship application. I had submitted PR application for my spouse under Sponsorship outside canada and my application got received by CPC mississauga on Decemeber 23rd 2014. I had got the sponsorship approval letter from CIC on March 12th 2015 and the application is sent to NEW Delhi.

Upon checking CIC website it says to send email stating withdraw the application in the subject line. I had already sent out an email on April 16th in which I mentioned that I want to withdraw the application. I had sent email to CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca and to DELHI-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. But still I haven't received any reply stating that my application got withdrawn/cancelled.

I am bit worried whether they are going to approve the sponsorship with out checking out my email which states to withdraw my sponsorship PR application. Could you please suggest what different I can do and get a reply back from CIC stating that my application got withdrawn.

You can contact the call center and see if they have updated your case notes to include the withdrawl.

I will contact the call center today and make sure whether my case file includes my withdrawl request. Hope I will receive an response from them.

Alternatively, depending on how far along your case is, you could always order the GCMS notes and wait the 30 days for them to be sent.

Yeah I will contact the call center and see whether they can provide me with the information about my withdrawl request included in my case notes. (which I definietly doubt that they will provide me the inforatmion which I am looking for)

I will order for the GCMS notes if I haven't received any positive response from the contact center.

I had called the CIC call center and they said that they will add a note of withdraw request to my file.

Additionally they said that it will take 16 weeks to get a reply for my email which I had sent on april 16th 2015 about withdrawl request.

Does it take that long to get reply/confirmation about the withdrawl request?

Please help!
