Hello guys I have a couple quick questions.

Did an engagment party with my syrian gf who lives in Dubai in Feb 2016. Got married religiously in dubai in May 2016. Went back to visit in September because her visitor visa was denied. So I've been there 3 times and its getting harder to visit and keep up a job.

I want to start her PR papers. I have my religous wedding paper should I translate it to english with notary and then send it in with all the PR forums online?

Is that it for the process?

Any tips?

Here's the CIC website on Family Class PR:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

PR forms are not sent online. It's a paper app (you can fill out on your PC with Adobe Reader and print) that's mailed to Mississauga, Ontario.

Yes, you'll need to get that wedding document translated. The information on how to obtain the "certified true copies" CIC wants is here in Guide 3900 (Family Class sponsorship Outland): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3900ETOC.asp

Good luck!

On top of all the forms and marriage certificate, you need to send proof that you are in a genuine relationship. This means photos, receipts of things you need together, letters from friends and family attesting to your relationship, letters from both of you explaining the relationship etc...

thanks. im a little confused. on the first link there is part 1,2 and 3.

on the 2nd link where it says spousal the "fill out the app" section only contains forms from part 1 of the first link.

so is that the only ones I need to do?

also what is the difference between guide 3900 and 3999. on the first link right after it says part 2 it has a link to guide 3999 for spouses

ALSO, for use of a Representative and COMMONLAW MARRIAGE forms they do not apply to me so i ignore them correct???

The link should show you parts 1, 2, and 3. The forms in all three sections have to be filled out. Part 1 is for the sponsor; part 2 is for the applicant; part 3 is also for the applicant - you should look for the guide for the Middle East.
Guide 3900 is the guide for the sponsor; it tells the sponsor how to fill out the forms in part 1. Guide 3999 is for the applicant; it tells the applicant how to fill out the forms in part 2.
You are married, so do not fill out the Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union. You can use the representative form: if the sponsor wants to be the applicant's representative, fill out this form.

Yes, she does. This is from Guide 3999:

Police certificates

You and your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens must provide a valid police certificate for each country other than Canada, in which you have spent six or more months since the age of 18.

You, the sponsor, do not need a PCC letter, but she needs one from each country where she's lived for 6 months or more.

Also, make sure she discloses the fact that her visitor visa was refused, in the application.

she has a police report from last month but it says its expired. it only lasts 1 month. is it ok to use that one. cuz she has to go far to get it.

by the time the cic read the application the new one will probably be expired too!!!

the medical report she did 5 months ago and i believe its connected to the gov here and they can see it by themselves. we went to a authorized canadian one in dubai.

cic considers police reports valid for 6 months from the date it was issued, regardless of what expiration date is listed on the paper, so you want to make sure it's submitted before 6 months from date of issue.

medicals are valid for 1 year, and cic has the ability to extend them if necessary. i did my medical 6 months before i submitted my application and had no issue with approval.

It has to be translated in English or French.
For us, we had to send original police certificate, but I know it can be different for certain regions. Check your country specific guide, it will tell you if you need originals or if copies are ok.
