I’m canadian citizen married with two kids, my nephew is under 18 yrs old. His mother is my sister who’s single mom and passed away last 2016. My nephew’s birth certificate don’t indicate father’s name because he was born out of wedluck. Is it possible to sponsor him as orphaned nephew? Since I don’t have any family member that I could sponsor in the future. Please give me some advice, what to do? in our situation. Thank you.

He isn't an orphan without proof of the fathers death as well.

You can try sponsoring him and it's quite possible you may be successful. I would work with a lawyer since this isn't a completely straight-forward application.
