Dear friends
My dtr-in-law have done M.tech in ECE from India in 2017 and is going to Canada on spousal visa. Will she be eligible to get job in Canada against her present study. What she has to do to get a job in Canada in her field of study. Will her degree be accepted/recognised. Would she need to get academic credential assessment through WES. Some relevant professional courses helping her to get job ?

It depends on what job she has done before. I am not sure what kind of jobs require m.tech or it's equivalent in Canada. A better place to search would be job sites like Indeed where you can see jobs that you think she would be eligible for. A professional course could help but in Canada, a lot of emphases is put on Canadian work experience. So doing a course with a co-op placement could help but there are no guarantees on anything. It is all up to the individual person.

She has no job experience. I am asking for her study which she did in India. Either It will be accepted on her landing in Canada or she has to go for some other study program/ certification in Canada to have a job in her field of study ?

It depends on what company it is and what are their requirements. She should be knowing what jobs are available in her field and what the requirements are. Unfortunately, I am not in the tech field so I cannot comment on if m.tech is something that Canadian employers are looking for.

Sorry to be blunt. Employers here don't give much weightage to degrees earned overseas (unless it's from US or some European countries for Quebec).

There are jobs in IT but without experience she will be competing with fresher's from University/Colleges here.

Better she does a 1 year course in IT with co-op then there maybe chance of landing a job.

I guess your dt-inlaw is well versed with computers/internet. Ask her to do some search there.

Good Luck
Edit : ECE has very limited scope in Canada that's why I suggested IT.
