is there any update in notes procedure?
Today is 2024y but first post was made on 2017 y.

Nothing much has changed, really. The process in the OP is still pretty much on-point.
- The consent form IMM5744 underwent a format change in 2018 but it is still the form to submit along with your request.
- If you're outside Canada

- Pick "Access to Information Act" like the OP says. This option costs $5.​

- If you're in Canada,

- Pick "Privacy Act" if you're in Canada. This option is free. ​

- The file number to use is your citizenship request number eg C000000000. There is another field where you put your UIC.

I have a quick question. is there any benefit to get the notes and see what has been written under officer's notes and the re apply for the rejected visit visa or just re appeal etc? I mean what could be aaaan effective next step?

Has anyone applied recently and received gcms notes?
Asking because I applied on Sep 26 and still not get any report , which is around more than 45 days.

last week I sent email and got a response that they are still working but doesn’t mention any ETA

I am trying to order GCMS notes for my mother's Visitor visa, I am a Canadian PR, and I am applying for the notes, so do I fill in my name in the Applicant's information and my mother's info in the related individual?
