My husband received a request from IRCC to do medical exam. However, when he went to the clinic, they could not find his information via IME or UCI. The clinic emailed to ask an Canadian case processing agent and she said that my husband's IME was cancelled by the visa office by accident and the only way to send over my husband's medical result is to ask for an UMI number. The agent stated that my husband should contact the visa office for that, but he applied online; so does it mean that he should send a webform to ask IRCC about it?
Actually, the strange thing is my husband received a request to send over his passport a few hours after he has received the request for medical exam. He did send over his passport and received the visa and, later, the correspondence letter about approval of his study permit. I wonder actually we need to bother about asking the UMI number now.
My husband did send a webform to ask about the medical exam when the clinic could not find his info via IME or UCI, but he still has not received any feedback from IRCC.
