How to get deportation record from USA?

Hi there,

I am in the process of filing for criminal rehabilitation for my husband.
I have to get a hold of documents from INS in the USA stating that he was deported from USA after serving his jail sentence. Has anyone done this before? Can someone help me to find out how i can get this info. I checked the website but cannot find anything or any contact info.
