You may try to search job banks like job bank.gc.ca / kijiji or monster.ca
Fort Mc is where I intend to go (hopefully- just waiting for visa). I heard this particular place has a very high cost of living.
But to be honest with you guys, i have gone through a lot of websites but the one that worked out for me is by going through each and every company websites and apply from their career sites. I have sent out about thousand plus applications in the period of 8 months before I finally got an employer and yes I am direct hired.
Just be vigilant enough to determine the genuineness of job offer just in case you manage to find one. There are so many traps scattered around waiting for the hopefuls to fall in. So if there is a money involved at the very beginning of the application then back off.
Goodluck guys and hope we all make it in Canadian soil.
Thank you for your comment.
What are your qualifications and how did it work for you?
I also found that the cost of living is very high, non the less everithing depends on your job, salary, hours, and how far are you willing to go.
i've searching arround a lot and the biggest problem i have is that i have no qualifications nor canadien experience. That goes for me and my eife.
She has over 10years experience in administrative positions and logistics. I on the other hand am a police officer in my home country for about 10years.
We also have a 2year old baby.
We are seriously considering moving but it looks very hard, and has the time passes is looking harder.
I also have drivers licence of all non articulated cars/buses/trucks, but i suppose theire not recognized in canada.
What do you suggest? applying for security jobs (wich are low salary i suppose) and/or labour and truck driver?
Im open to all sugestions off course.
I'll take in consideration what you said of applying directly to the company website, thank you.
Anymore informations, tips and comments are wellcome.
Thanks again
