Hi,
Off course there are plenty of employers, who need workers but the main thing is how to find them. If anyone can help to find an employer who can provide offer job?? That would be great.
I have 7 years experience in customer service and sewing machine in the UK and I can speak fluent english in British accent.

You may try to search job banks like job bank.gc.ca / kijiji or monster.ca

Fort Mc is where I intend to go (hopefully- just waiting for visa). I heard this particular place has a very high cost of living.

But to be honest with you guys, i have gone through a lot of websites but the one that worked out for me is by going through each and every company websites and apply from their career sites. I have sent out about thousand plus applications in the period of 8 months before I finally got an employer and yes I am direct hired.

Just be vigilant enough to determine the genuineness of job offer just in case you manage to find one. There are so many traps scattered around waiting for the hopefuls to fall in. So if there is a money involved at the very beginning of the application then back off.

Goodluck guys and hope we all make it in Canadian soil.

Thank you for your comment.

What are your qualifications and how did it work for you?

I also found that the cost of living is very high, non the less everithing depends on your job, salary, hours, and how far are you willing to go.
i've searching arround a lot and the biggest problem i have is that i have no qualifications nor canadien experience. That goes for me and my eife.
She has over 10years experience in administrative positions and logistics. I on the other hand am a police officer in my home country for about 10years.
We also have a 2year old baby.
We are seriously considering moving but it looks very hard, and has the time passes is looking harder.
I also have drivers licence of all non articulated cars/buses/trucks, but i suppose theire not recognized in canada.
What do you suggest? applying for security jobs (wich are low salary i suppose) and/or labour and truck driver?
Im open to all sugestions off course.

I'll take in consideration what you said of applying directly to the company website, thank you.
Anymore informations, tips and comments are wellcome.
Thanks again

I have been on Hospitality Industry for 9 years now and my NOC is 6525.

I am not quite sure on which job you should choose to land but I am telling you now to apply for a job that best fits ur experiences as I have seen so many threads in this forum of applicant getting denied for their visas when they apply for a job which is far away from their experiences.

I dont know whats the demand for Security Jobs. You may try to go kijiji it does help a lot.

thanks again for the quick reply.

As ive been informed, my drivers licences have no value in canada. I can only take the driving exame and go directly to G. But thats it apparently. Id have to take all the others driving Classes and consequently pay it all (again), so it doesnt look like the best way to go at frst. Maybe ill do it once im settled. At least for line hault, it would be nice.

Wich leaves me the security jobs, that also require canadien certificates such as security guards licence and other similar canadien certificates.
Like i said earlier, it seems harder every day...

Besides, i cant afford to there working on $10/h because it is not enough for digified survivall, and im not that desperate fortunatly.
Id really love to go there but the point is an upgrade and not a downgrade.

Im just not seeing many chances...

Thanks again

Hey there..dont lose hope or patience. That was my mind set before. I have went through a lot of rejections and all. But I never gave up.

As they say, if theres a will theres a way. Since you want to come to Canada with the Family, then why dont choose to apply for immigrants? I know this require a lot of paperworks and funds.

Applying for any permits in Canada is a very long process and does require a lot of patience. But I also believe that all these efforts will worth the wait.

Goodluck

Sorry. I didnt quite understand ur statement "it isnt possible" " u dont have minimum funds" .

U must meet the requirements before applying. I suggest u can either hire a lawyer that can guide u better.
