How to continue my implied status

Hi,

my pgwp got expired in december 2024 and i have applied for wp extension and chrrentlu on implied status. Now i got my ITA and can i apply for bowp as the restoration for my pgwp and withdraw my extension application? If i have withdrawn old exgension application will my implied status is gone or i can continue with bowp implied status? I dont want to loose my job please help me with best possible option in this scenario

You cannot apply for BOWP until you have submitted PR application and have AOR. If you withdraw extension then you lose status.

@Naturgrl I have my aor and after applying for bowp can i withdraw my previous extension? And can i work with bowp implied status?
And one more question is will my work till now under implied status will be considered even after withdraw?

No don’t withdraw extension. If you got notification that you can work on implied status after applying for BOWP then do so.

I believe that you can raise a webform with additional documents in your current application and ask them to convert it to BOWP. I came to know about this recently. Makes total sense since both of them come under work permit category.
