Hi

I sponsored my wife and she and just got her Visa, I found out she doesnt want to live with me and just want to come to Canada. I want to cancel her Visa before she lands to Canada.
How can I cancel a granted visa,?? she is not landed yet.

Thanks for your help

Sorry to hear you are going throguh this. Its people like your wife, who make it so hard for many of us. Karma will take care of her.

it might be too late. Howerver, I have heard that if you contact appropriate authorities, there is a chance they will deny her landing.

Lets wait to see what others say

forget it.

Enjoy rest of your life. You will be barred for bring your spouse from outside for next 5 years now.

They might also see, that you took money from your wife to bring it here and now she is not paying you back thats why you are creating problems.

Couples like you spoil all the Immigration policies and delay real couple process thats why CIC finger point to every couple who is process there cases.

BTW where you from ?

You'll need to contact CBSA (Border Services) https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/p480x480/544807_493923170673603_1588439553_n.jpg

And CIC http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/index.asp#callcentre

If she hasn't landed yet, they can cancel her visa if you withdraw your sponsorship.

If she has landed, you're out of luck.

Also, if she goes on welfare here in canada, you are going to pay for it for the next 3 years.

contact cic. I am sure they would be having some way to cancel her visa afterall they just wait for someone to withdraw the application..
if she lands in Canada then you would be in trouble as if she takes on govt assistance then canadian govt will starts deducting money from your account.. so take the step fast

So sorry to hear about that. But good thing you found out before she came to Canada and finally got her visa.

Do immediate action now! Try to contact the details given to you below, before its late. No harm in trying though.

By the way, if you wont mind where is your wife coming from? What country?

True. genuine couples have to pay the price for what blunder the fraud ones do

Once a "decision has been made", you can't withdraw.

That is not true. Here is a recent case where the person successfully did exactly this. If you tell CIC and border services there was misrepresentation, they can refuse the applicant to "land" when they arrive here with COPR, meaning the sponsorship obligation will be cancelled when the COPR/visa eventually expires.

Yep. Just move quickly.

Also, people, stop marrying douchebags, please? You're messing it up for the rest of us.

In all seriousness, sorry this happened to you. Hopefully you'll get in touch with the right people in time (CIC and the border agency).

Please don't post such incorrect information. It is not too late to try to cancel the visa and he will not be barred from sponsoring for 5 years (even if she does successfully land). You clearly have no understanding of the regulations. Please don't confuse people by posting bad advice.

I agree, If you have nothing more to say and if unsure.. dont confuse people.. better not reply..
He is asking on what to do... he wants right answer so he will be able to do the right action...

Lets help one another by giving right advice and telling the truth..
Wrong advice will lead us to wrong decision and will worsen the one who seeks advices situation...

Hi:

Just call CBSA and cancel it.
Would like more details about your situation. Please provide more details.

Thanks
