How soon do I need to submit my passport after the TRV application is approved

Hi, there:

I am currently in the U.S. and I am planning to submit online application for the visitor visa right now. But I need my passport to travel to Europe at the end of May. If my Canadian visa application is approved in two weeks, do I have to submit my passport immediately to the Canadian consular or can I wait until I come back from Europe, which is approximately the mid of June?

Once you submitted online they usually take 20 days and if everything is good; they will ask your passport. And you have to send the passport with in 30 days. Otherwise the application will be denied and you have to submit the application again.
