you cannot send passport directly, VFS is the only way, or else Ottawa if you are inside Canada.

My father is living in canada and he processed us there and he recieved the PPR and gor PR there, he asked for our passports to send it to canada and he submitted it in canada.

I’m really wondering, what he did was correct right? We could send our passports to the VFS in our country but instead we sent it in Canada. I’m really anxious

Ideally you should have submitted to VFS in your home country (unless there is not one).

That’s what i’m thinking also why did we sent it there, now it’s been 14 days and no news with regards to our passports

Dont worry they will do it if submitted, risk is only getting lost in courier, they will not return without CoPR, I assume your father is primary and did he submit passport at same time and waiting for CoPR?

Yes he’s the primary applicant. We got PPR on Oct 5, he got his COPR and became PR in IRCC calgary on Oct 11 and he submitted our passports in Oct 11 alao.
