How many days it take for stamping

That depends mate ... Few people got their passports within 10 days while few others had to wait for 20 days. On an average it is 10-15 processing time to get your passport stamped.

My timeline for those who are interested:

9 Jan - Email requesting passport
3 Feb - Submitted to VFS Bangalore, asking them to process it faster as I have to travel this week for work.
11 Feb - CIC account got a new message that is the same as the passport request letter

Twiddling my thumbs and waiting....

I have a question. Can I submit my passport in the US while visiting? I just got PPR but Im here on a long visiting trip. Thank you in advance.
