I been married for almost 4 months to my wife we have known each other in the past and started talking over a year ago again. We use to be friends long time ago. I am from Belgium, and she is in Canada. I only have phone records going as far back as only 6 months, and emails also. We never save them only recently the last few months. We have taken trips to Europe and North America, we have ton of pictures of our trips. I can supply last 6 months of phone bills and some facebook conversation since mostly we do is skype. Skype does keep logs. I have over 8 months of logs on skype.

How many emails should I provide?
How many Pictures?

Thank you, Jean.

Also I will be sending everything to Paris since I understand they are the ones taking care of Belgium. I was on their website last night and it said 9 months. Does that mean 2 months + 9 months so almost 1 year total correct?

Alright thank you. How do I do the emails just print them with the dates on them and our conversations? Along with skype logs? I will take screen shots of facebook conversations and things we talked about and so on. Along with e-cards then.

Screenshots are better to show the exact infos on your conversations.

Yes, instead of copy-paste.

Some good feedback on this here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-much-is-too-much-t138899.0.html

You don't send your application directly to Paris. You need to indicate Paris as your outland visa office on the application, but you send it to CPC-Mississauga. After they approve the sponsor, CPC-M will send it on to Paris to continue processing.

I believe most people just do copy-paste for emails, and make sure the copy shows dates and times and everything. In this way they can effectively arrange and organize all the emails in a more easily readable format. It's best to take random emails from various stages of the relationship, starting from vbery beginning and working your way to the present. A guideline others have followed is around 2-3 emails per month of relationship, but this depends how difficult/easy it is to prove your relationship, and if any big red flags.

Not sure if this helps, I called skype and asked for records because my partner and I had talked for several months on skype only.
Skype doesn't keep records of skype to skype calls, but they gave me permission to use their logo on the copy-paste. I put that on and included the email giving me permission "as long as it was exactly as shown".

best to send pictures that actually show physical changes over time (natural gain weight, growing out of hair, etc.). i also noted under captions to notice the hair growth (i had cut my hair like a boy/pixie cut/ and it took two years for it to grow.)

i think it also helps to show emails that you have sent to friends talking about your wife!

Hi,
Did the cic actualy asked for those details later or did you submit them during your application?

Quality - Quantity

You've been married for four years, you should be fine

try to find letters/emails/cards etc where you are discussing your relationship with people other than each other (friends, family, coworkers etc) so that CIC sees your relationship as bona fide b/c other people see you as a "couple". Also, pictures that include you two with OTHER people is more beneficial than just you two alone as again, it shows that other people know of you as a couple. Any Christmas cards, wedding or engagement cards etc that are addressed to BOTH of you also help proving the above point. The more you have the better ofcourse! If you've ever had a fight or written things to each other in emails or wherever that show a reluctance to move to Canada, or questioning whether it is a good move, stuff like that, include it, cause it also shows you were really discussing your options and most importantly, that it's not just a marriage to get into the country. Basically, you need to think of it as proving that your relationship is "bona fide" (that's the word they use). Good luck =)

Hi...does it also apply with pictures or we can send digital photos printed and labeled like what others did?

And also whose name should be at the upper part of page 2 & onwards of the Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking? Applicant's name opposite the date of birth...Will it be my husband or me?

Other questions please, My husband can't find his permanent resident card and can't remember the date of his permanent residency which we need to put in the form Sponsor Questionnaire.

1. Where can he ask for another copy of the card or ask the date when he became a permanent resident if he can't be issued another one. He has a Canadian citizenship card already.

2. What office issued the permanent residency? as we need to fill in the form?

Thank you so much for all of you who could help me...

God bless...

abscott

send a lot, because you can only do this application once, best to make it a very good one
