I have a confusion that I got 22 or 23 Points as I have Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering(4 Year).Please Confirm me.

Hello,your education is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Canada so expect to get 21 points.

Second Confusion what about the Person having Experience More than 3 Years but less than 4.
In gazette
2-3 Year Experience =11 Points
4-5 Year Experience =13 Points

Hello,you will get 11 points for experience and 21 points as you have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

An organization like World Education Services will give you 21 points but if ECA is done by a professional body then you can expect 23 points.

In the old point system it was,

Two or more credentials at the bachelor’s level OR 3-year post-secondary credential (+15 yrs)

The new point corresponding to it are


Master’s level or professional degree

23


I highligheted the +15 years because 16 years are +15...This is my hypothesis and may be I am wrong, but 16 years education with engineering(prof degree) will most probably get 23...But the again as put by canxyz, assessment from different bodies will matter.... PMM can you please share your judgement....

The 21 and 23points for me are like 66 and 68..

1. If you read the link to the Canada Gazette, years no longer enter into the points for education.

Two or more post-secondary credentials, one of which is a three-year or longer post-secondary credential 22
Three-year or longer post-secondary credential 21

For 23 points you require a Masters Degree.

In india engineer can work without licence...no such licence is provided in india. But in canada it is reverse. No one can be professional engineer in india?
