You will get 3 year work permit if you do a 2 year course
for anything less than 2 years you get work permit equal to the duration of the course.
Hope that helps.

PGWP is one time deal once it expires u cannot get another one. As for extending it u can only get a bridging work permit if u have applied for PR . So its very risky to get only 1 year PGWP. if ur not able to apply/qualify for a PR program during this 1 year time ur PGWP will expire and u will have to leave canada.

Has the job to be in the same discipline of the course?
And what is the criteria to be eligible for PR?

ru asking if for PR u need the job in the same discipline of the course then the answer is no but most PR programs need a skilled job which means it should be in NOC 0,A or B category. u will have to search for different PNP and federal PR programs and read about their requirements.
there r some listed here
