How many times can an international student extend their study permit and CAQ without affecting their PGWP?

So I'm in my final year of university. My degree is a 4 year program but i'm thinking of taking an extra year to complete it. How many years is permitted for international students to complete their degree. Will there be risk of being expelled from university/the country if i don't finish my program on time? And will it affect their work permit if a student takes 5/6 years to finish their program?

As long as you are remaining full-time and passing most your courses you should be fine for small extension. Getting unlimited extensions are unlikely.

In addition to legal nuances, I am also concerned about questions/problems related to moving, stress, and adaptation, as well as those directly related to education. What if I don't have enough time to study at the right pace? Here, at home, the service https://edubirdie.org/ often helped me, and who will help me in the future when I become an international student? Although Edubirdie is completely legal, paranoid thoughts will not leave me (they are already present in my mind). In short, I need to prepare better mentally. It's good that there are similar forums now!
Thank you very much for your reply! I think it will help many international students. I am not one, but maybe I will be in the near future. I am very worried about various nuances, including those similar to those described in the question.
