Ya .. but my agent told me that I took some 10 days to process it. That is.. i should have submitted it before 15th March. He said that I am late for it now. I am very confused what to do.. !!

He is correctly saying this...Are u applying under SPP ?

Which College/University and your desired Program

I have applied in NAIT Edmonton under SPP for Digital MEdia and IT course.

Ok, I was asking becaus if u would have been an University applicant like me, GIC won't be mandatory.

I am also not purchasing GIC also

Buddy, Just confirm 1 thing to me ...Can I transfer money from the Loan Account ( owned by me and my father jointly ) ... m asking because Bank would not xfer Loan amount of a single penny to my or my father's personal account.

What if I don't buy GIC being a university applicant

Hello Swati, Deadline for funds transfer for may intake is 22nd March.

so you still have time.

Mayank,

That will be a problem. I can understand your dilemma. However, as specified, funds needs to be transferred from student's account only. What can be done though is, if you can arrange 5,50000 rupees for a period of say 4 to 6 months from someone and you can keep repaying it. as you can withdraw CAD 2k the moment you arrive in canada and then CAD 2k every two months. CAD 2k would be around 1 lac rupee so you can repay in around 6 to 8vmonths time.

No. this option won't be feasible for me....if this is the case I wont purchase GIC then

Hm... Mayank, then perhaps you need to apply under General... coz under SPP they have made it mandatory to purchase GIC.

still your profile seems good and general category also shouldn't make much difference to your case buddy.
wish you luck.

Cheers!
