How many of u got the GIC?

i paid my GIC on 19 march , do i need to mail them again regarding this? tht i transferd 10100 CAD ?

I applied for GIC on 13/03/2013 and got the a/c details and on 15/03/2013 and transferred the funds on 19/03/2013. When can I expect the GIC certificate ?

within 3-4 days you will get. if not,send them wire transfer details. you will get it within 48 hours after sending the details.

Even I done with wire transfer on 19th also sent an e-mail with TT details but no responce. Messed with everything...

1) Sender name typed worngly it will make any problem?

Example:
Benficiery : Anand ramachandra

they typed as:
Sender: Anad ramuchandra

two letters wrong in sender name.

2) Not done wire transfer through bank, done through Thomas cook India LTD. Non-banking foregin exchange delar they are able do wire transfer though out the world.

Only i need to face the problem if my visa get rejected for refund or they simply refuse my wire transfer??

Please help me out with your inputs seniors...

they visited scotia bank Bangalore, meet with Sriram (Manager) they not even aware about GIC, in front of me browsing for details in google.. Advised to write e-mail to studentright@sc,... Also i called 1(800)953-7441. but no luck

I tried to contact Thomas cook, they are transferd through Bank of canada, assured to amend the correct name. Also able track whether fund received or refunded by EOD.

Even if Bank is ready to transfer, I am not sure whether GIC officers would accept it or not as stated in their website that funds should flow from the Student Account only

No. They can only pay tuition fees from loan account and not for living expenses and GIC.
