how long will be requested passport after CIC sent request letter to pay RPRF?

No, I didn't send. I am facing an issue as they want us to submit our Passport to CPC Ottawa. I am in India and my wife is in USA. Sending Indian Passport out of residing country by courier is illegal

Thanks for your reply. I saw the link you posted but my problem is that I have already dropped an email to CPC Ottawa for changing my VO but didn't hear from them and it's been 11 days. I have only 2 weeks left for submitting my passport now I am losing my patience

now I am losing my patience Yup...I called them up and it was a wastage of time. The call centre guy didn't have any information.
My Father-in-law and Mother-in-law applied for visitors visa to Canada. They are visiting from India. The status on myCIC website is showing that the application has been approved for both of them and application status is “Closed”.

Have you tried to contact the Canadian Embassy in India? I guess you are wasting your time, sending emails to CIC doesn't mean that you can get a response in a reasonable time. Their turn around time is almost 30 to 35 days if they will ever respond. So you better try with the Canadian Embassy, they might be able to help - I learned that they can handle the passports delivery. Otherwise, you don't have any option but coming to Canada!manil said:
