I am from Pakistan and planning to apply for TRV to visit Canada. I recently got my passport renewed. My passport is valid till 2033. I heard Canadian visa is valid till a month before passport expiry. Any experiences please?

Length of TRV can vary depending on how strong your application is and the reason due travel. You can anything from a short single entry TRV to a multiple entry 10 year TRV. The amount of time you can visit Canada on each entry is decided when you enter Canada and can be up to 6 months.

In case a multiple entry is granted? Is it always till your passport expires?
For example my passport is expiring after 10 years in 2033. Is it possible that they give me 2 years multiple visa or 5 years multiple visa.

No, it's not always until passport expiry. Max is 10 years but it could be shorter. It's up to IRCC how long the TRV is valid for.

Yes I have heard that but in most cases visa is valid till, one month before passport expiry.
What is your knowledge based on most cases?
