how long to stay to get Canadain passport

Dears,

After a long time i am into the forum. I would like to know, how long should i stay in canada to be elligible to apply for canadian passport.

for example. I did my first landing to canada on March 2013. and return back to my native country. So in order to keep my PR card valid i should be there at least for 2 years out of 5 years. but what about Passport. ? so far i know , for passport i should be there at least 3 years out of 4 years . So my question is am i elligible to apply for passport if i do my final landing on 2016 Feb.

From next year it will be 4 out of 6 years. Then citizen processing may take more than a year.

is it total 4 years out of any 6 years or its counted since my first landing which was 2013

4 years you have to stay in Canada before applying for citizenship.
