how long to get a case # or reply after submitting app for spousal immigration?

hi, there,

I am just wondering how long it takes. I submitted the application to MISSISSAUGA, ON. I am Canadian, and sponsoring my wife, and she is still overseas. I sent out the application package last month, and so far I have not received any email or mail.
