how long is the FBI background and medical good for?

It won't be long before me (American) and my Canadian sweetheart get married. Could you please tell me how long the FBI background and medical are good for? I'm asking so that we can time it all out to have all paperwork done at the same time. Thank you for the answers.

The FBI check must be received by CIC within 3 months of being issued. The medical is valid for a year.
