How long does it take for LA VFS to return my passport? Approved visitor visa with emergency condition.

Hello,

I am an Indian citizen living in the USA with an H-1B visa.

I have an emergency in Canada and applied for a visitor visa with an emergency option. I got the approval, but I want to know how long it would take for LA VFS to return my passport. Can any of you please help me with this?

I need to make another emergency travel to India in 4 weeks. So I need my passport for that travel. I tried searching online but couldn’t find any proper answer based on current processing times.

Hi ,For an emergency visitor visa ,did you apply on the IRCC portal ,by selecting family emergency option? Anything you did separately from an usual visitor visa application ?
