Hello

I sent my passport for PR visa and they received it on 11 dec. My tracking number was activated 2 days ago but it is still showing ITEM PROCESSED, no more information while tracking it. Does anybody has an idea regarding this problem?

thanks

it worked really fast for me.
i hope the same for you.

Hey, I've posted here (see earlier posts) about my issue with Canada Post. It was stuck at "ACCEPTED" (OTTAWA - Item processed) for 6 calendar days. Activated on December 11. Called Canada Poston December 16 and the guy said he talked to an agent in Ottawa Post Office & said they NEVER received anything and to call CIC instead of them. I emailed CIC about it. On December 17 morning, I checked the tracking number again and it said "ACCEPTED", but there's some new details "VICTORIA - Item processed at local delivery facility" then 3 hours later "VICTORIA - Item out for delivery". At the same day, CIC emailed me and said they DID send our passports on December 11 and wrote down the tracking number in the email as well. So....Canada Post can't be relied on recently.

@scarletsally

Hello
Should I call or email CIC and tell them about this issue or should I wait for 1more week? I called Canada post and they said they will get back to me in 48hrs.
Thanks

It's only been 2 days for you right? Maybe wait a couple more days.

Sent the passport on Dec 4 ...got stuck with Canada post until Monday Dec 9 - the status is still "Available for pick up".

GOT the passport back on Dec 17....and finally DONE.

If your Canada post status is not "fully green" - (or in other words "delivered") when you send your passport dont worry, I called Canada post they told me since CPPO receives big volume of mail, they don't scan all packages and that's why you don't see the bar being completed.

I hope this helps. Good luck all.

Hi there,

I received our passports today. Yay! I'll do the flag pole thingy on the weekend

Hi Guys,

We got our passport yesterday with visa. We will do landing this weekend. Please advice if we need to carry any document beside passport and COPR?

Thanks,
Taaj.

Ya, it would be great to know the required documents. I have seen PNP applicants, who completed their landing, advising that the provincial nomination document is an important document to have for the landing. I would appreciate if any can confirm this. I wonder how to provide the provincial nomination document since it was submitted as part of the PR application.

Thanks,

I do not have PNP certificate in hand now, I just got a photocopy of it. But I guess PNP certificate is not required during landing. Anyways, I am gathering documents for my landing tomorrow at Niagara Falls, ON. Docs that come to my mind - Passport, CoPR, Apartment lease agreement, Bank statement, Utility bill, Employment offer letter, Salary stubs and Canadian Degree certificate. Wish meluck for landing :)

Good luck budy with your landing tomorrow. Tomorrow is a big day for you. It is the very last thing of this long journey. I am sure it is going to be a smooth experience. At least, this what I have seen as a general impression about the landing experience. Please let us know the documents that your border officer mostly focused on.

Best,

Hey just have a question here, can I buy a prepay Xpress mail package and bring it to the border office? So I can give it to the officer after I done my landing, then they can use that to mail my PR card. I mean after all the waiting that we've been through, u don't want anything wrong happen in this very last step eh?

Hey got a strange question, my tracker just got activacted on dec20. Well I got ppr on dec6, mailed on dec7, since that's a weekend so cic received my passport on dec 11.
But funny thing is the tracker records shows that the item is being processing in Regina! WTH? Isn't that supposed to be processing in Ottawa?! Then there is an explanation " attempted delivery. Noticed card left indicating where item can be picked up".

Holy! got my passport back with the stamp today!

Congrats. That was quick.

I am also waiting for my passports. Mine reached there on Dec 13.

Thanks,

We did our landing over the weekend. We brought along all our documents (PNP letter, etc) but the officer only took our CoPR & asked for an address where we would like our PR cards to be mailed.
