How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

In my PPR letter last paragraph it is saying like this
"Final Note
The issuance of your visa(s) cannot be delayed so it is important for you to submit your passport(s) as soon as possible." - want to know whether it is standard message for everybody who gets PPR

Yes, it is for everyone.

Usually, when there are two addresses (mailing and home, both could be the same) side by side on your eCas, it means your passport has been stamped, and is in queue to be sent back to you. But I'm not sure.

Anyway, guys, those who are still waiting for your passports and have been waiting for months, if you live in Canada, try contacting your local MP, and see how they can follow up.

For me, those two addresses have been there for almost two years. It doesn't mean anything.
MPs are not that helpful. sometimes they are, or they used to be. But not these days...

Do you have different mailing and home addresses? I wonder if the second address (home) would show up for those with the same home and mailing address (but if you already have different mailing and home addresses, then they would have to show them from the beginning). Have ever applied for GCMS notes? It may help to shed some light what's going on...

No, same Address. I applied twice for the notes 1 year ago, nothing useful. It's been 9 weeks since I sent my passport. They say I am in a queue to be finalized.

I mean, if you have applied for GCMS notes since your passport request. Maybe your notes will say something on the delay?

just wondering ,whoever sent his passport in Feb march and are still waiting to receive the same,,what ur ecas is showing.....in process or decision made..?

I just want to conclude if its in process the it mean they didnt stamp visa so far,,,if its decision made then should be stamped...

In my case, when they sent the email asking for the passport I checked the status on the ECAS and it was already in Decision made.
And it only shows one address, the mailing address, it does not show the home address so far.

i just sent total of 2 emails in 4 weeks and they responsed once they said my application is on queue to be finalized.

I sent my passports along with the FEDEX overnight return label. But tracker was not activated, and CPP-O mentioned that they already returned my documents. That means did they return it by regular mail? I am worried. Any thoughts are appreciated!

I'm sorry to say, but yes, they're sending your passport back through regular snail mail. They will only use your envelope if it's from CanadaPost.

All the same, congratulations At least you know that your passport is on the way. You can party all week long while waiting, you are now as good as a PR

Try giving them a call first, and ask them what to do. Let us all know

when did you received the email that they already returned your documents? if today just wait a couple of hour and check again your tracker, but if after 2 hours and your tracker still not activated, wait for a week, CPP-O might sent your PP in a regular mail. Dont worry you will get your PP soon. God bless!
