How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Select Temporary resident permit holder
*Submit*
Click Check application status
Agree to the terms and conditions
Select Client ID (This is usually the 8 digit number on your work permit, dont put the dashes)
Put in your surname, DOB and Place of birth

Hit continue

And you will see it

If it doesnt work, you might have disabled online viewing and if that is the case, i cant help

I have a friend whose friend works in CIO-NS ..She told me that they sometimes will issue PPR with In progress background checks .

I dont know about that ... All i know is background check ..But i will ask her again

They just can't refuse our Visas. We have been paying taxes since last 5-6 years to canadian govt (those who are in canada)
About background check; they can check things like travelling history, you employee and can call him to check if you are working with him as PNP candidate or not.....

Any sort of illegal activity such as criminal case or act..... found guilty etc...

most important is employee check. Where they can send some one inperson or just by call as well.


I have lost my hopes that they will send passport soon
So I all I doing is that everyday at 8 PM PST time I check my tracker and mail box.

Thats all I am doing.... and NO success till now...

Mine is with them since 18th Feb....

so far in one case. A girl from BC. She got her PNP work permit and had her off campus as well.
They called the employer and he said no she is not working but will start working once her PR is approved.

At this officer sent a letter with refusal saying your status shows you have received PNP work permit and you are still not with that employer.
Anytime status changes, your previous status automatically demolish; which in her case was her off campus.

Now she has filed an appeal saying this was not at all known to her. Her appeal is still pending and she is waiting for decision. At the moment she is with her PNP employer...

So, it all depends upon your officer. This is really stupid on these officers....

Man you should also keep eye on your mail ..you never know they might send it without tracker being getting activated .
