Hi
I live in Pakistan.I got married in March this year.my wife is a canadian citizen and she sponsored me after completing all my documents with up front medical I sent them to her and she sent them to the Mississauga or whatever in Canada they took almost 2 months to reply back and told that our application has been approved and is sent to the visa office in London.I checked online on the official cic website there they have mentioned that it takes 28 months to process an application in London but I read on your website that it takes 11 months so what is actually true I've also heard from some people that the whole process takes a year but their website is saying 28 months I'm confused and I am a pharmacist and my wife visited me last month and we went to thailand for vacation should.I tell this or send photos to the visa office does it have any advantage.
I'll be glad to hear back from you.
Regards

If your case is straightforward, it can take anywhere from 6 - 8 months. If there's some complication in the case, it could take upto 15 months.

It's been 12 months since I applied for my wife and she got her pre arrival letter as well on October 2nd but still no update I opened a web form no reply. I been living with her in Pakistan over a year now I'm so confused what's going on. What should I do?

Receiving pre-arrival does not actually mean that you are at the end of processing which they should really clarify. Processing for spousal sponsorship from Pakistan routinely takes over 12 months. As already pointed out I assume you are a Canadian citizen and can also show concrete proof that you will be settling in Canada.

What concrete proof I have to show that I'll be settling in canada?

I would order your gcms notes and you can ask of your MP if they can inquire on your behalf.

As noted - fairly normal that it takes longer (hélas). But you want to order gcms notes to check that the delay is not related to you residing abroad / do they want more info from you about intent to return.

When you applied, did you apply from within Canada or as residing abroad?

Check the application forms: Canadian ctiizens abroad sponsoring their spouses need to show info about intent to return.

This was logic of my post above: if you moved abroad AFTER you submitted the app, they may be waiting for you to return (or otherwise delaying due to you being abroad).
