My husband needs to fly from Cancun to Mexico City to get both biometrics and medical, it is a 2.5 hour flight and he is only able to get one day off of work.. plus he doesn't want to have to fly there twice and waste time and money (understandably).
He is hoping to fly there and get both done on the same day, assuming we get the request for both bio and medical around the same date/time. We are likely getting these requests in the next week or two, and therefore would like to know how long the appointments take so he can plan how to get both done within the same day.. and know what time he should book them for :)
(We know he cannot make an appointment until we get the request - just thinking a little in advance so it's not hectic at last minute)
Thanks so much !

I hope someone who has been to the Mexico City VAC can weigh in, because I think it likely varies with location. My husband told me he was at the VAC in London for a total of 30 mins for his biometrics, and the medical took around an hour. So in our case it was feasible to do it in one day, but he ended up making two separate trips. However, he also only lives an hour by train from London, so I can understand why you would want to organise it all for one day! I think the medicals are usually advertised as taking around 90 mins, so in this case I think you want to make sure you know what the typical wait time for the VAC in Mexico City is. But I think your husband could reasonably expect to do the medical in the morning and have plenty of time to get the biometrics done.
