how long did it take to gather your docs?

Hello everyone,

Just starting the journey here. Wondering how long it took you, roughly, to gather up all your docs to mail in the application... I am hoping it wont take too long! ;D

Six months. We had issues with one of the police certificates (we were never able to obtain it in the end).

guess it is depending on how long it would take to get all docs and translated /notarized it.

filling out forms and getting all proof for relationship took 2 weeks.

5, almost 6 months. Had the paperwork done pretty quickly but FBI police clearance took 4 months and I was pretty short on money for medical exam, so we waited and did that last.
We visited each other every month too so I had to keep updating everything frequently.

I am going to submit my PR application next week, I almost courier my application form for the police certificate however I managed to read under CIC guideline that police certificate for my country are not require until I receive CIC official letter of request thn Singapore Police will process it.
