I would like to add that after completing my landing and returning back to my country I got this news from my cousin that our PR cards have been rejected because of photo specification mismatch and then I had to apply for a travel document to return back, while traveling back to Canada I was questioned by officials at each of these places (mentioned below) about my PR card, having said that I didn't faced a bad situation but was just politely asked to which I gave an appropriate answer...
> Indian Immigration officer @ IGI Airport
> Before boarding Air Canada flight at Frankfurt, here I was asked to show my landing papers which I did...
> After landing in Toronto when I just exited the Aero-bridge and entered the terminal building the Canadian Border Security
> Canadian Border Security person who checks the passports before allowing entry...this guy sent me to Canadian immigration
> When I went to the Canadian immigration officer I openly told him this.. "I am just wondering why I been sent here when I have all the documents" to which he smiled and said that its OK nothing to worry about and he added that the CBS has not much idea about immigration related matters that could be the reason they sent you here but nothing to worry you are good to go... he also politely asked what my profession is and blah blah.. I told him.. and we exchanged a few laughs and it was all over...
But I want to say that no need to panic in such situations people are good, you must think that they have a duty to ask and you have to be honest in responding and that's it!!
