It all depends on why they wanted your passport?How do you know you have been approved?Just because they asked for your passport?They ask for the passport for many reasons...more background checks,to see if its legit and not a fake,or simply to put the visa in.But just because they asked for your passport does not mean your approved......most cases it is but few its not.And by the look on this forum lately inland has been taking a bit longer than usual.
