How is the strike affecting our PR applications?

I submitted the complete PR package to sponsor my Thai wife to Canada (outland) two weeks ago and when I went to check the status online, I saw that there is a strike of immigration employees, which has been current since April. Is there any information on its progress or how it is affecting things like my sponsorship approval? This could be terrible...

Right now it's just extra time for processing.

I do know that New Delhi VO is moving at a snails pace. No new PR's issued in weeks! Luckily it looks like they are at least working on Jan 2012 applicants.
They are going to be so backlogged. Slowly but surely I hope.

This is horrible for us..it may mean I have to go ahead to be with my children while my wife languishes in Thailand
