I am now enrolled in the master's program for the fall 2020 intake and have already finished three terms online from India. Now, I am going to leave on August 8 to finish my last term in Canada, which will begin on September 7.

Students are not allowed to fly to Canada until three weeks before the start of their class, according to what I've heard; however, can anyone confirm whether this need is exclusively for new students, or will it apply to me as well?

Where have you heard 3 weeks? It's 4 weeks but a few days shouldn't make a difference. In your case, it wont make any difference because you are not a new student

If you have never activated your SP at a border, then you are a new student, regardless of you started your classes online remotely.
Having said that, you should be fine to travel on your dates.

So there won't be any concern at the border or with airlines regarding 3 or 4 weeks guidelines?

I am travelling from Pakistan, and travelling on 12 August while my classes start at 8 September also. For one, I dont rly know how they will confirm when my classes start since my admission letter states start date of 10 May 2021 when I actually started studying online. So I dont know how to show them my courses date for Fall 2021. How do you plan to show it ?

8 September minus 28 days = 11 August. You should be fine. They might ask your class schedule during issuance of boarding pass. Like log in and show in Teams or brightspace/college website etc.

It's fine saying 4 weeks and yes Canada does not want students arriving too early, however they have to be mindful of the fact it is more challenging arranging flights during the pandemic, and there is the ever increasing danger of flights being banned from any country at anytime. There should be some flexibility on IRCC's part.
