How does your name appear on your PR card?

Just curious,

My name appears on my PR card in full capital letters under "Name/Nom". There is no distinction between last/family name and given /first/middle names. Is it the same with you guys?

Ours are all family name on one line, first/middle names (if applicable) below the family name on a separate line. If you look closely, it looks a bit like the family name is bolded but the first name is not. All caps.

Hope this helps.

Hi ,on my pr card ,the family name is written first and then the first name .Is that the normal format or do I have to get it changed as in my passport it’s first name and then the family name .Thanks

I do not know. As I said, all of ours have this format:
LASTNAME
FIRSTNAME

On separate lines. Note the bolding.

But I would suggest looking at the back of the card, the machine-readable bit with numbers and characters - on ours there are three lines, the first two lines with things like:

CACAN[etc]
[digits with birthday, PR card expiry date, other stuff]

The bottom line seems to have this format:
LASTNAME<<FIRSTNAME<<<[etc]

If that machine readable part has the first/last name out of order, I would be more concerned that this is a mistake. Note, I'm giving examples from our cards, but image search on the web for PR cards seems to confirm all of this.

You could also try calling IRCC or MP's office to confirm whether it's an error and needs to be corrected.
