I need to attached additional sheet for employment history and address information because the form doesn't have enough space. Is using word document ok?

Yes, but don't simply write `See attached' on the form, because the extra sheet(s) may somehow become separated when CIC gets their hands on your application. I suggest that you write "Please see addendum [name of your document] for additional information" and then be sure to label your document with the same name across the top, along with your name, date of birth and the form and question(s) that this is to be used for.
