How do I link my CIC Account

Hello Everyone,

I received my acknowledgment letter last Friday on 2 June. Since then I am trying to link my paper application online but it continuously giving an error and popping up with msg "data not found or you have entered the wrong information " though I am providing every information correct. I am only given 7 calendar days.

Please help me.

Just be patient and continue to try every day. Also make sure you are entering the right info. Even with me entering the right info i still couldn't link right away. Took me 2 weeks to link it. Even if they send you the email. Your name might not be in the actual system yet. Thats what IRCC told me.

Also make sure that for the number of applicants in the application as "2" because they count your husband/wife as an applicant. If you have any dependants then you add one for each of them. Hope this helps!

Ps. IGNORE THE 7 DAYS THING THAT YOU SEE. 95 percent of ppl are unable to link within 7 days and it didnt slow down the process. Untop of all this IRCC website has so many issues right now because of the breakdown on Monday.

Place of Birth - click box and hit the space bar once, don't type anything
Applicant's Country
Where You Will Reside in Canada - sponsor's address
Number of Applicants - many people get lucky with 2, sponsor and applicant
Leave the passport info blank.

hello ! what do you mean by sponsor's address. It's only asking for the city.

hello,

I had issues linking as well my 3rd attempt I used the passport field and left birth place blank. for number put 1 SA + 1 PA + Dependents (even if not accomanying)

in my case I put 5 since PA has 3 children SA dependents not included.

I have linked the PR application but no luck linking the work permit application. Do we need to wait for a few days after we get the AOR or something? Could you share your experience linking yours?
