This is a cute thread.
I never knew so many people met via World of War Crafts game. Hehehe. Met a couple at a wedding who met that way, thought it was unique and adorable and now I will have to tell my friend it's still adorable, just not unique.
I met my husband at a bus station in Albany, New York while travelling to Montreal, Quebec. He barely spoke any English and my French was limited to greetings and I don't speak French :-[. He was travelling with his friend who shares the same name as him. He actually fell asleep and so I spent the 5-6 hour ride talking to his friend ( who also had limited English knowledge). At duty free, my now husband sat next to me at my request so that we could all be closer together when we converse. He fell asleep on my lap and at Berri station he told me if I need anything I could come to their apartment and stay there. My friend was late picking me up and I was worried. His friend had given me his email address and their phone # earlier. I spent 2 days in Montreal visiting. After I came home, I immediately added his friend and asked for his ( my husband's ) email address. Talked for 3 months and for my birthday he sent me a ticket to Montreal and a box of Godiva chocolates and the rest is history.
Thanks for sharing everyone. I love reading people's love stories. They're like a little window into the soul.
