How did you find your first job as a new PR?
How many months and how many applications do people here take to find a job for a new PR?
Before or after landing?
Which websites or networking groups that you use to find your first job?
What field is your first job?

You are asking in the "skilled/professional immigration" section. Most people here migrated to Canada as a TFW and then got their PR.

About getting a job, everything is about your percentile placement as a job seeker.
1. 90 percentile and above - everyone is looking for you.
2. 75th-90th percentile - apply and use the 1-10% application to job interview call rate logic. Mild discovery issue (figure out the ATS)
3. 50th-75th - interview conversion rate goes down to 0.1-1%. Exceptional discovery issue, ATS optimization alone won't fix you.
4. Anything below, best of luck!

For example, I never applied to any job in Canada and got mine years before even landing here. Figure out your percentile placement by benchmarking yourself and then ask questions that actually lead to good answers. You are asking for a lot of info from people without providing what you have done/going to do.

Depends. Job market is trash right now for anyone who is 'average'.

If you are niche and skilled with an anglo degree (UK, Australia, USA), it's possible. If not, then good luck.

Or a French degree if you are applying in Quebec, I guess.
